ICE Has Broken Down Our Door

Is this the look of a man in his right mind? Trump stated, “The only constraint he has on international rules-based order depends on what your definition of international law is.” In an interview with the New York Times, he was asked, “Were there any constraints on what he could do on the world stage?” Trump replied, “My own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me now.”

ICE is targeting anyone Trump believes does not belong in our country. We have witnessed this repeatedly with the targeted ICE raids happening across the country. The actions of ICE have been cruel and heartless. We saw this with Liam Conejo Ramos being taken in front of his mother, coming home from preschool. ICE ate at a Mexican restaurant in Willmar, Minnesota, left, and then returned later to arrest three members of the staff (Michael D. Carroll, 2026). ICE, along with the Lincoln, NE police department, Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, and others, arrested two individuals after breaking down their front door. One of the individuals was hard of hearing and did not speak English. Question: When is America going to wake up and stop Trump's tyranny and regain democracy?

In March 2025, a series of controversial deportations and retaliatory actions under the Trump administration drew national and judicial scrutiny. One such case involved Kilmar Armando Ábrego García, a Salvadoran man who had had court-ordered protections against removal since 2019 but was nonetheless deported to El Salvador’s Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT) prison as part of March deportation flights. Federal judges later ruled the deportation unlawful, ordering his return and criticizing the government’s handling of his case (U.S. District Court, 2025).

Another case involved “O.C.G.,” a Guatemalan man protected by a withholding-of-removal order who was mistakenly deported to Mexico in March 2025. Judge Brian Murphy found that the government’s claims that the man had renounced fear of return were based on incorrect information and ordered his return (Murphy, 2025).

Similarly, a migrant known only as “Cristian” was unlawfully deported to El Salvador despite being a member of a class in a 2019 lawsuit; a judge later ordered his return, reaffirming the illegality of his removal (Federal Court Order, 2025). In another significant ruling, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg found that at least 137 Venezuelan nationals deported to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act, allegedly due to supposed “Tren de Aragua” gang ties, had been denied constitutional due process and must be allowed to challenge their removals (Boasberg, 2025).

Beyond these deportations and outlandish arrests, the administration has appeared to target political opponents and perceived “enemies.” Former President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were among those whose security clearances were revoked under a March 21, 2025, memorandum (White House Memorandum, 2025). Other figures, such as Letitia James, James Comey, Adam Schiff, John Bolton, John Brennan, Chris Krebs, Miles Taylor, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and prosecutors including Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, and Fani Willis, were also reportedly subjected to retaliatory investigations or public attacks by Trump and his allies (The Washington Post, 2025).

Collectively, these actions highlight the administration’s disregard for judicial orders, due process, and political neutrality, raising serious concerns about the rule of law and democratic integrity in the United States.
